Like most exquisite dishes as simply served, the better.
Place a thin slice of roe on toast with a few drops of lemon juice, olive oil and pepper. The roe does not need cooking. Usually served as an appetizer accompanied by dry white wine, champagne, whiskey or ouzo. Before cutting the roe wax, leave at room temperature about half an hour to remove the wax easily.
